Position: Regional Senior Training and Development Officer – looking after 3 sites in the Northamptonshire area.
Location: East Midlands
Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 Plus Car / Car Allowance

As the Regional Senior Training and Development Officer you will be part of the HR management team, you will join a company with a strong Global presence. This organisation has a huge emphasis on delivering to customer expectations and market demand.
As the Regional Senior Training and Development Officer for this division, you will have responsibility for the training needs analysis, design, delivery, assessment and evaluation of training for all roles, offering a training and coaching service to all managers including the senior leadership team within 3 sites in the Northamptonshire area.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
• Identify the needs of the business, divisions and individuals and provide management development solutions
• Developing and implementing three site specific training plans
• Providing advice and support to HR Managers and Line Managers on issues relating to T&D
• Overseeing PDP / succession planning and development programme
• Management of the co-ordinator and operative development programme
• Delivering inductions for managers
• Working with government funded bodies to provide funded training to employees
• Delivering ad hoc projects and training packages when required
• Project Management
• Providing all employees with a high level of customer service
• Day to day management of the training team
Skills / Experience:
• You will be of graduate calibre
• Your background will be from a manufacturing, logistics or retail environment – having worked in large complex environments – in a blue collar/shop floor environment
• Three years experience of design and delivery of training and development programmes
• Experience of Influencing first line, middle managers and senior managers across the 3 sites.
• You will be very customer focussed, have lots of energy and drive
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills
