An exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to work for this IT-related Business-to-Business company
You will be responsible for the provision and delivery of professional HR management processes and administrative documentation across both UK sites. 
Providing proactive and effective strategic HR support to the Managing Director, Directors and Line Managers, ensuring that they are kept updated with changes in UK employment law and HR Directives from the parent Group; you will be responsible for:

- Leading all recruitment processes
- Taking a lead role in ensuring the effective delivery of management development and performance management programmes
- Managing the performance appraisal process
- Providing guidance to all directors/managers in all areas of employment law and people policies
- Monitoring changes in employment legislation that affect the company
- Co-ordinating the Works Consultative Committees
- Maintenance of the 'Investors in People' recognition, and other personnel initiatives
- Excellent communication skills, with an ability to relate professionally to staff at all levels of the company and with external bodies on the company's behalf
- Good working knowledge of HR practices and related employment law
- Good presentation skills with the ability to deliver training and briefing sessions
- Experience of working in a commercial/manufacturing environment and dealing with trade unions.



Qualifications:
Full membership of Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development

Note: Regular travel will be required between UK sites (Redruth and Orpington, Kent), and occasionally within Europe
