| Digital Artwork Specifications |
- - When booking of the advertisement is taken you will be given a six figure URN (unique reference number) this is to be used as the file name.
- - Artwork should be supplied as a PDF. We recommend the use of Quickcut, an application designed to ensure that artwork files are correctly supplied. We also recommend the Pass4 Press standards for PDF developed by the Periodical Publishers Association. Please refer to:
- - www.quickcut.com (for Quickcut) www.ppa.co.uk/production/standards (for Pass4Press)
- - Alternatively we will accept an Encapsulated PostScript (EPS) file. Please note: All font information must be embedded in the file.
- - The file must be colour composite (CMYK not RGB) with a preview and saved in Mac binary without crop marks.
- - A copy of all placed files such as EPS or TIFF must be supplied in a folder with the main file. Artwork must be produced 100% size.
- - The following native formats are acceptable but not recommended: QuarkXpress, Pagemaker, illustrator or Photoshop. It is illegal for you to supply us with fonts, so please ensure we hold all the fonts being used.
- - Along with the file, please supply a proof with colours, fonts and placed files marked on it. Artwork can be supplied via 4-sight/ISDN/Zip/Jaz/compact discs or by e-mail to janet.dombrandt@rbi.co.uk
