A twelve month marketing solution

The HR Directors Club can accept up to six sponsors.
We work closely with all the HR Director's Club sponsors to create an individual package tailored to meet your specific marketing and business objectives throughout your twelve month sponsorship period. Sponsorship contracts run from June to May the following year during which six briefings will take place.

The HR Directors Club offers a wealth of benefits to companies who sponsor the Club.

BRANDING - Targeting HR Directors

Sponsor logo to appear prominently on all HR Directors Club material sent out to members, on the website, www.hrdirectorsclub.com and displayed on signage at each briefing. HR Directors Club marketing communications material includes:

  • Members handbook sent out to all HR directors
  • Invitations, menus and agendas
  • Sponsor logo and information to appear on monthly e-newsletter to members
  • A company description on the HR Director's Club website with a link to the sponsor's sites
  • All sponsors logos will be visible throughout each event
  • Each sponsor company to be given TWO places at all HR Directors Club event.
  • Each sponsor will have the opportunity to present the conclusions of the speaker's presentation at one event
  • Each sponsor to facilitate a workshop session (if applicable)*
  • Sponsors to receive a list of attendees one week prior to each Club event
  • Sponsors to have the opportunity to distribute material* to members at Club events
  • Each sponsor will receive two invitations to all events giving a direct networking opportunity with the most senior HR people
  • Sponsors can place reciprocal links from their websites and use the club logo

*to be agreed in advance

ASSOCIATION WITH PERSONNEL TODAY
- Be seen as driving the HR agenda

  • Sponsors can invite key clients or prospects who fit the criteria to join the club and attend events
  • The Club and sponsors will be referred to in editorial coverage of events
  • Sponsors will be supporting major initiatives through involvement in the club
  • Sponsorship will enhance brand credibility as a leading HR supplier
  • Sponsors will increase their visibility in front of key decision-makers
  • A company profile will appear on the Club website with a link through to Sponsor site
  • Sponsor to have skyscraper ad appear on a rotational basis on the website
  • Sponsors logo and company profile to appear on members pack sent to Club members
  • Branding to appear on all promotional signage at the events
  • Sponsors' names will appear with editorial review briefings in Personnel Today and on PersonnelToday.com

Sponsorship Package

Having taken into account both sponsors' and members' feedback since the Club's launch, we have introduced the following new developments to this year's package:

  • 'Breakfast plus' style events - We would like to initially hold two of the six events as 'breakfast plus' meetings
  • Website investment - we are developing the website to encourage member interaction and give sponsors more visibility. One of the ways we plan to do this is via an 'Ask an Expert' facility
  • Online advertising - sponsors can also benefit from a sky-scraper ad on the website which will be rotated on the website with the other sponsors ads
  • Varying the format of events to include sponsor workshops and lunchtime regional events

Personnel Today's commitment to sponsors and members:

We are committed to continuing to develop the HR Directors Club to ensure our sponsors receive maximum value from their sponsorship participation.

  • Continuously design and develop the creative idea and concept of the Club
  • Organise six briefings per annum
  • Organise extra workshop events (if applicable)*
  • Provide, manage and develop the HR Directors Club website
  • Provide a monthly newsletter to Club members
  • Regular communication and feedback from Club members and sponsors
  • Research appropriate venues and speakers
  • Research and execute appropriate themes
  • On-going research amongst members
  • Co-ordinating the operational and promotional process to sponsors
  • Manage all aspects of the Club events
  • Ongoing promotions to encourage new membership

Workshops

Business Inspiration and networking for HR leaders

HR Directors Workshop Option 1

Event Format

HR Directors Club workshops are exclusive discussion groups made up of about 10 - 15 delegates. All workshops are chaired by Personnel Today and facilitated by the sponsoring organisation. A topic will be agreed between Personnel Today and the sponsoring organisation and will be on a subject within the sponsor's area of expertise and value to members of the HR Directors Club.

Each workshop can accommodate a maximum of three presentations, one of which can be from the sponsoring organisation giving an introduction and background on the topic in question. The other presentations can include a case study from an industry professional. This speaker may be one of the sponsor's clients, or alternatively Personnel Today can invite the speaker.

Once the presentations have taken place, the sponsor or a representative from Personnel Today can deliver the closing presentation including the key issues to provoke discussion among the delegates. Delegates will be allocated a minimum of one hour to discuss what they have been doing in their organisation, exchange ideas, debate the key issues and participate in a Q & A session. After the Q & A session there will be an informal drinks reception offering networking opportunities.

The target audience for this workshop would be 10-15 HR directors.

Branding

The event will be branded Personnel Today in association with . This will be used on all print and online marketing activity and promotional material at the workshop. The event will be promoted within the resources page of Personnel Today and on personneltoday.com

HR Directors Workshop Option 2

Event Format

An eminent and inspirational industry speaker from the world of HR industry to deliver a 45 minute presentation on a topic agreed between Personnel Today and the sponsor, with a further 15 minutes for Q & A. The event will also incorporate an informal networking opportunity either at the beginning during a buffet style breakfast or after the presentations during lunch.

This workshop can be extended to include a round-table discussion after the presentation, giving delegates the opportunity to exchange best practice. This discussion would be chaired by sponsoring organisations.

The target for this type of event is up to 40 HR managers to attend the presentation and approximately 10 to participate in the round-table discussions afterwards (if applicable).

Branding

The event will be branded "Personnel Today in association with the sponsor". This will be used on all marketing communications material and promotional signage at the event. The event will be promoted on PTOD's resources page and on personneltoday.com

HR Directors Club Sponsorship Rates

The sponsorship period runs from June to May the following year; the monthly cost equates to less than £2,500 per month.

Entry level sponsorship:

  • Basic one year sponsorship package - £27,000 plus vat p.a.
    (includes six briefings but excludes workshop event)
  • Basic two2 year sponsorship package - £25,000 plus vat p.a. (as above)
    Enhanced one year sponsorship package - £30,000 plus vat p.a. (includes workshop event at reduced rate)
    Enhanced two year sponsorship package - £28,000 plus vat p.a. (as above)

Workshop Rates

Workshop One Cost for sole sponsorship: £8,500
  Cost for dual sponsorship: £5,500 each
Workshop Two Cost for exclusive sponsorship: £8,500
  With break-out discussion: £10,000 available for sole sponsorship only
  Cost for dual sponsorship: £6,500 cash (presentation only)
  This is on the basis that there is no charge from the speaker. If you would like to select a speaker, a premium of £7,000 (maximum) will be added to sole sponsor option and £3,500 for dual sponsorship.

Additional sponsorship opportunities:

One day conference for individual sponsors £20,000 plus vat
Smaller breakout sessions for individual sponsors  £4,000 plus vat
Targeted e-shot campaign to Club members £2,500 plus vat (one per sponsor per year)
Individually sponsored hosted evening drinks reception £5,000 plus vat (based on maximum 25 people)
Individually sponsored hosted (regional) dinner £7,000 (based on maximum 25 people)
