In April 2003 Personnel Today launched an exclusive Club for senior HR directors. The aim of the Club is to provide business inspiration, networking opportunities and quality information in a timely accessible way. Membership is restricted to senior HR leaders in organisations with 1000+ employees.

To date, we have over 1000 registered members*. All members have exclusive access to the website www.hrdirectorsclub.com and club members are invited to attend a series of briefings hosted by Personnel Today, which take place six times a year.

The events currently run as breakfast briefings and 'breakfast plus' events where after the presentations, members have the opportunity to stay and discuss the issues raised and share their experiences and best practice. Delegates and sponsors attending the breakfast briefing have the opportunity to network before the main speaker's presentation.

Most of the events are held at unique venues across London, however, in order to reach all our members, we also host regional events.

Speakers vary from the world of politics and business including CEO's from top organisations. Guest speakers have included Michael Portillo, Tim Waterstone, Prof. Richard Scace, Andrew Marr, Brendan Barber, Rod Eddington, Edwina Curry and Clare Champman. Topics for the events to date have included the State of the Economy, Motivation, Consumer and Employee Branding, Futurology, Women in Business and Diversity in the Workplace.

The Club is funded by up to six sponsor organisations. Benefits from sponsoring the Club include the opportunity to use the profile of the Club as a platform to increase build awareness, and increase networking amongst the senior HR community.
