I have just placed a candidate in an end to end virtual process. He will do his handover virtually too.
It can be done. It’s actually quite efficient. Takes a bit of guts on the candidate side to join a company without going onsite or meeting them face to face but it is no different to hiring someone from overseas virtually. Just takes a change in mindset.
