Comment on Think like an immigrant! by Sol Friedman

Very good and true article Greg. Over 15 years ago,I had the pleasure and privilege of being responsible for the training and development over a two year period of 30 young graduate engineers recruited by a large utility in Canada. This company only recruited the best and the brightest, but some of the most outstanding of the group were those who had been in Canada for less than 5 years. Although I’m in Australia now, I’ve monitored their progress over the years and, not surprisingly these talented immigrants, have remained loyal to the company that recruited them, and gone on to have very successful careers either in Senior Technical positions or Technical management positions. Some of the key reasons for, and drivers of, their success are included in the article you penned.
