Investors hold the key as Picturehouse wage strikes intensify

The leafy streets of East Dulwich hardly look like a hotbed of sedition, but staff at the local Picturehouse cinema went on strike for the first time on Easter Saturday — the fifth London venue of the arthouse chain to suffer a walkout because of parent company Cineworld’s refusal to pay the £9.75 London Living Wage.
