Theresa May ‘must not scrap wage policy as she rips up predecessor’s plans’

So much policy has been laid waste from the Cameron-Osborne era in the space of a few weeks that it is easier to recount what has survived into Theresa May’s premiership. More change is undoubtedly on the way.  Chancellor of the Exchequer Philip Hammond’s “reset” of the economy offers as much illumination as the “Brexit means Brexit” line, but at least it allows business leaders to dream a little about what goodies he might dole out in the Autumn Statement on November 23.
