BBC
Worldwide’s Adult Learning department has been voted the nation’s favourite
training provider in a poll of training professionals across the country.
As
a result, the department won the prestigious ‘Training Provider of the Year’
award at this year’s World of Learning Conference and Exhibition (WOLCE), held
at the NEC in Birmingham.
The
award was presented by former England footballer and Republic of Ireland
football manager, Jack Charlton.
Jonathan
Drake, director of BBC Adult Learning said: "This award is a great
achievement for everyone involved in producing, selling and marketing BBC
learning products and services to professionals.
"We
have made huge efforts to adapt to the changing trends in the market and
produce the highest quality learning materials available today. Winning
‘Training Provider of the Year’ is an important recognition of our
