Hampshire Constabulary – Employee Assistance Programme

Hampshire Constabulary is inviting expressions of interest from suitably experienced Employee Assistance Providers (EAP) to appoint a EAP service provider capable of fully managing, operating and delivering an employee assistance programme to 7350 staff (currently made up of 7000 staff and 350 special constables) 24 hours a day 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

The contract will commence 1 October, 2009 and will be for three years with an option to extend for a further (two) twelve (12) month periods subject to approval by the authority.

A pre-qualification questionnaire will be available via an eTendering portal to contractors who have expressed an interest and who meet the following minimum criteria:

• Be registered companies
• Have a profitable trading history
• Have a minimum turnover in excess of £2m p.a.
• Be willing to have their employees vetted for approval by Hampshire
• Preferably be members of the British Association of Counselling and
  Psychotherapy (BACP) or similarly accredited
• Be able to demonstrate previous experiences of similar contracts

Questionnaires will be subject to evaluation to produce a short list of no more than five (5) contractors to tender for the above contract.

Applicants should email baps.contracts@hampshire.pnn.police.uk to express an interest and for detailed instructions on how to gain access to the on-line pre-qualification questionnaire by no later than Monday 16th February, 2009.

The Pre-qualification Questionnaire must be completed via Hampshire Constabulary’s eTendering portal no later than Monday 2nd March, 2009.
