Reed driving 21 applications per job

by Personnel Today 8 Oct 2008

Reed’s Guaranteed Response job posting service is attracting an average of 21 applications per vacancy.

Record traffic to reed.co.uk continues to push rates of response to unprecedented levels, as increasing numbers of direct employers and recruitment agencies choose reed.co.uk to generate response for their vacancies.

Guaranteed Response is designed to give recruiters a relevant and timely response to their jobs by guaranteeing each one receives a minimum of ten applications.

Mark Rhodes, Head of Marketing at reed.co.uk, says:

“Jobseekers are making around 50,000 applications a day on reed.co.uk, up over 45% on the same period last year.

“Economic uncertainty, combined with an ongoing commitment to driving quality traffic to our clients’ vacancies, has resulted in a huge boost in site activity. 25,000 new jobseekers are registering on reed.co.uk each week, with over 2 million candidates visiting the site in September alone.”

As well as receiving a market leading level of response, recruiters choosing reed.co.uk are benefiting from industry leading customer service. A recent survey of clients gave reed.co.uk a customer satisfaction rating of 91%.

Rhodes continues:

“All this is great news for anyone with a vacancy to fill. With Guaranteed Response jobs posted for as little as £30 per job, supported by best-in-class client service, we firmly believe that no other job site and no other media delivers such an effective solution.”
