The EAP company will provide the Services with a 24-7, 365 telephone counselling line and a one-to-one counselling service. The Services will expect a Personal Advice Service for their employees and immediate family. The EAP supplier will be expected to provide quantative and qualitative feedback on the operation of the contract.
Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service has 1,383 uniformed and non-uniformed employees based at a Headquarters site, a Control Centre, Training Academy, Motor Vehicle Workshops and 26 Fire Stations.
Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue Service has 2,401 uniformed and non-uniformed employees based at a Headquarters site, Training Centre, Technical Centre and 41 Fire Stations.
A restricted tendering procedure will be followed and, as such, expressions of interest are being sought.
All applicants will be sent a Pre-Qualification Questionnaire which must be returned no later than Wednesday C.O.B. on 25th May 2011.
De-selection will be made utilizing a pass percentage method and 5 companies will be selected to tender.
