Tender: Invitation for expressions of interest – Occupational Health

by Personnel Today 15 Oct 2010
by Personnel Today 15 Oct 2010

Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust invites expressions of interest from Occupational Health providers for the provision of a service to its 5,800 staff predominantly within Nottinghamshire, but also Leicester, Wath Upon Dearne (Rotherham) and Doncaster. The ability to provide a service in other English regions is
also important, as the Trust may secure tenders in various parts of the country.

The focus of the service is to provide occupational health clearance for new appointees and also to support the Trust in proactively managing sickness prevention and absence. We are particularly interested in a service that can offer innovative prevention of absence techniques concerning muscular skeletal and stress and anxiety issues.
The anticipated start date of the contract is 1 April 2011 and it is intended to last for up to five years with the option of a
two-year extension.

All expressions of interest should be addressed to: Mr R J Burgess, Procurement Manager, Rampton Hospital, Retford, Notts, DN22 0PD (Tel: 01777 247453), and will need to be received by 20th October 2010.
