Learning & development at Spirit: like minds wins IOIC best electronic design award

Employee communication specialists, like minds, have won the Institute of Internal Communications’ Central Award for Best Electronic Design 2013.

The award was given for like minds’ work in creating the Spirit Pub Company’s learning & development website, the “Training Tree”. The site was recognised as an exceptional piece of electronic design that delivers clear messages and captures the attention and imagination of employees.

like minds’ Director, Moira Throp, commented: “We created the concept of the Training Tree to help Spirit simplify its career path and make it more accessible to employees. The tree makes navigation on the website very easy and straightforward, and follows through in every element of the company’s learning and development offering.”

The website includes videos, workshop programmes and role-specific training information, enabling employees to discover more about the company’s career paths and how they can reach their career potential.

like minds is currently assisting Spirit with the development of training guides, a work experience programme and other projects to enhance the learning and development experience of its employees.
