Law firm Howard Kennedy has strengthened its Employment and Immigration practice with the appointment of Partner Samantha Murray-Hinde.
Sam joins the firm on 8 May from Hewitson Moorhead where she was a Partner in its London office. She brings to the firm an impressive track record in the transport and sport sectors and in advising both employers and employees in heavily unionised industries.
Also joining the team are Solicitors Chris Warwick Evans from law firm Joelson and Jessie Basra from Birketts.
On joining the firm, Sam said: “Howard Kennedy has a terrific reputation for being entrepreneurial and for acting for rapidly expanding businesses. Its Employment and Immigration team has a first class client base and I am delighted to be joining the team.”
Jane Amphlett, Partner and Head of Employment and Immigration said: “We are thrilled by Sam’s decision to join Howard Kennedy, and with the appointments of Chris and Jessie. Sam is a talented lawyer with a strong set of skills that complement the clients and sectors where we work. She, along with Chris and Jessie, will be real assets to the team and firm and we looking forward to the contributions they will bring.”
At the same time, Howard Kennedy is combining its Employment and Immigration practices, creating a combined 13-strong practice.
Jane adds: “There is a strong demand for both employment and immigration services from our corporate clients and senior executives. The two teams already work closely and this move into one practice enhances our ability to provide a seamless service to clients.”
