Insurance group Allianz Cornhill is launching a health promotion scheme which aims to boost the physical and mental health of the company’s 4,000 employees.
In-house health and wellness seminars, lunchtime walks and access to exercise classes are just a few of the activities being offered as part of the scheme.
Other planned activities include health-related theme days as well as pamper days with on-site massages and manicures. Employees will be given ‘health packs’ including a pedometer to measure how far they walk every day.
Michelle Juchau, the firm’s health and safety manager, said: “There is no doubt that a healthy workplace is vital for success and can lead to happy productive employees.
“This promotion is an exciting opportunity for staff to learn more about health-related issues and get involved in new sports and activities.”
