The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has revised and is updating its successful health and safety management guidance document in a two-part process that is expected to be completed this month.
The guidance, also known as HSG65, is one of the HSE’s key documents for helping businesses ensure they are compliant with health and safety legislation.

The change will see the guidance being divided into three sections:
- Core elements of managing for health and safety.
- Are you doing what you need to?
- Delivering effective arrangements.
The first two sections were published in May and the final part is expected to be published at the end of June.
