by Personnel Today 27 Nov 2009

NHS figures have revealed that more than 450 health care workers in Lincolnshire have been attacked during the past 12 months, according to a report on the BBC website.

The total number of attacks was 467, which is an increase of 27 recorded incidents on the year before.

The figures were explained by NHS management responsible for staff security as a reflection of the increasing number of employees within the organisation who are willing to report such incidents.
