The University of Nottingham, backed by the EEF manufacturing employers body, has launched an MSc in Workplace Health, which looks at new ways or working and new threats. These include:
- Teleworking
- The ageing workforce
- Flexible working hours
- Work-life balance
- Flu pandemics
- Terrorism
The course is aimed at occupational health professionals, occupational hygienists and safety practitioners. It will equip students to go beyond traditional OH and deal with ‘psychosocial hazards arising out of the design, management and organisation of work’.
