The Royal College of Nursing is launching a new Learning Zone for members on 28 November, which will provide professional development advice on the health of working age people.
This will supplement the existing online learning zone offered to members and encourage all nurses to develop a better understanding of occupational health.
The initiative is linked to the government’s health work and wellbeing strategy. Dr Bill Gunnyeon told delegates at a conference on strategic workplace health organised by IRS Events this week (21 November 2007) that the learning zone was part of a national effort to educate healthcare professionals on workplace health issues.
