A fabrication firm has been fined 4,000 after an employee fell from height and suffered serious injuries on a construction site in 2001. Savill Fabrications pleaded guilty to breaching health and safety laws.
HSE offers more cash to improve safety
The Health and Safety Commission has opened the second round of its Worker Safety Adviser Challenge Fund, to run from April 2005 until March 2007. It funds projects that encourage employees and employers to improve how they manage health and safety.
