I would like to add to the letters you have received on the issue of overweight staff (Personnel Today, 8 November). I don’t feel they should be offered extra financial benefits for losing weight.
I agree that the problem is rife and something should be done, but this should not be an option.
This is unfair to people who do not need to lose weight as they are not going to be offered the same financial incentives. Should this not be classed as discrimination against ïnormal-sizedÍ employees?
