Postal workers across Europe have joined forces in the hunt for missing four-year-old Madeleine McCann.
Unions representing employees in the sector met in Berlin last week and urged all postal workers to play a key role in searching for the British girl, who has been missing since 3 May.
Billy Hayes, general secretary of the Communication Workers’ Union, said: “Postal workers visit every street, town and city throughout Europe on a daily basis.
They could play a key role in finding Madeleine, and we urge them to remain vigilant in the hunt.”
