Deborah Shaw has been appointed head of human resources at the Manchester offices of Brown Shipley.
Shaw joined the private bank in 2003 and was previously employed at auditing firm PricewaterhouseCoopers (Tax and Legal Services Practice) as HR business partner.
As a Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, Shaw has 20 years’ HR experience, including projects concerning the redevelopment and promotion of Manchester.

Shaw said: “With Brown Shipley’s presence across the UK and its planned expansion, this is an exciting role, especially when combined with all the current legislation surrounding employment issues.”
Brown Shipley employs nearly 300 staff with client offices in London, Manchester and Leeds, and an administration centre in Leatherhead, Surrey.
