Acas package for employers explains working parents rights

Acas has launched a free e-learning package to help employers deal with working parents’ rights in the workplace.

Using the package, employers can set up procedures to suit their own organisation and revisit the website at any time for practical advice and information.

The working parents’ rights package provides a step-by-step guide to:

• maternity rights and pay
  
• paternity leave and pay
  
• adoption leave and pay
  
• parental leave
  
• time off to help dependants and
  
• the right to request flexible working.
