If
you think your bosses are working you to death, you might just be right.
A
study has shown that bullying bosses can be bad for the health of their staff
and cause high blood pressure.
Researchers
at Buckinghamshire Chilterns University College took the blood pressure of 28
nurses every half-an-hour while they worked for different supervisors over
three days.
When
working with bosses they thought were unfair, blood pressure increased. The
nurses had a 16 per cent greater risk of heart disease, and a 38 per cent extra
risk of strokes.
