Only seven per cent of recent graduates are motivated by money when they choose their first job, even though 47 per cent finish their studies £3000 in debt.
The Graduate Recruitment Company also found that their main priorities were what the job was about and future career opportunities. The company questioned 217 recent graduates in a survey between August and October this year.
Alarming news for the big recruiters is that only 52 per cent want to work for a large corporate employer. Many felt that they would get more responsibility working for a smaller company.
