Unite the union is to appeal against a court ruling yesterday which found the proposed British Airways (BA) cabin crew strike was illegal.
The union said the decision to block the strikes on a technicality was ‘an absolute disgrace’, reports the BBC.
If the next appeal fails, Unite will again ballot members on industrial action – but if the appeal succeeds, BA cabin crew could be on strike again before the end of the month.

BA chief executive Willie Walsh said he hoped the injunction would give those involved time to pause and reflect.
The strikes over pay conditions – which were set to run for 20 days – were due to begin yesterday at midnight. The airline is running a reduced schedule today, as the court decision came too late to reinstate all flights.
