HSE to investigate Royal Mail workplace injuries

The
Health and Safety Executive (HSE) is investigating the Royal Mail after claims
that one in five employees had an accident at work last year.

According
to The Times, 36,000 injuries were recorded at a cost of £16m a year, and 7,200
of those resulted in workers taking at least three days off to recover.

The
newspaper also claims postal vehicles were involved in 20,000 road traffic
accidents last year.
