The programme, which was launched in November by health and work minister Lord McKenzie, is focused on the relationship between work and health, on rehabilitation and workplace adjustments. It includes input from the Department for Work and Pensions and the Department of Health, and can be accessed though the RCN’s website.
McKenzie said: “If we are serious about helping people back in to work after periods of ill health, injury or disability, then we need to make sure our nurses are fully supported. The nursing profession has a vital role to play in the health and work agenda.”
