Tories predict funding deficits will lead to police cuts

England’s
police forces are facing a multi-million shortfall in funding that may result
in staff cuts, the Conservative Party claims.

Tory home affairs
spokesman David Davis, released a survey that shows Kent
facing a £19m deficit, Norfolk
£7.8m and Suffolk
£6m in the next financial year.

Davis
said the lack of cash could lead to fewer police officers on the beat.
