Credibility
has been identified as the most important trait of top corporate leaders in
research by a leading business school.
The
Top Leader Journey, based on interviews with 40 business leaders, highlighted
eight areas required by executives moving into a leadership role.
The
research, by the Ashridge consultancy, found that credibility was intrinsic to
leaders in any business regardless of the industry or culture.
The
other areas identified included supporting the top team and spotting and
developing talent.
