Welsh partnership promotes work-life balance

A
new partnership agreement is set to improve the quality of life for Welsh
workers.

At
today’s Wales TUC Annual Conference, the Welsh TUC and Chwarae Teg – an
organisation which promotes the economic development of women in Wales –  launched a partnership to promote work-life
balance.

Ruth
Marks, Chwarae Teg’s chief executive, told delegates the partnership aims to
raise awareness of the benefits of work-life balance for both employers and
employees.

Julie
Cook, Wales TUC Head of Trade Union Education, added: "We can pool
valuable resources, knowledge and skills by working together and get the
message across about the benefits of work-life balance."
