New
police officers in Leicester are learning about crime scene investigation using
the latest CD-based training technology.
Leicestershire
constabulary is launching a 20 minute e-learning course to train new officers
in scenes of crime procedures.
The
CD-Rom-based course will help recruits follow protocol, identify important
forensic information, preserve evidence and liase with scene of crime officers.
The
Knowledgepool programme is based on simulations of real life crime scenes using
a user-friendly website-style approach.
The
modular course also has fact files and officers must complete a three question
test at the end of each simulation.
