Personnel Today drinks in media attention

Personnel
Today‘s survey into alcohol and drugs in the workplace caused a media stir
yesterday.

Noel O’Reilly and representatives from Alcohol Concern and Drugscope – who were also behind the
research – spent most of the day running between TV and radio stations in
London.

The
interest was fuelled by the finding that 74 per cent of HR people believe
lunchtime drinking should be banned, and that almost one-third of employers are
considering introducing testing for drugs and alcohol in the next 12 months.

for interviews from local radio stations such as Radio Devon, Wiltshire Sound,
Radio Swindon and Manx Radio.
