The majority of public sector organisations have failed to
implement IT strategies across all departments according to a survey.
Research conducted by recruitment specialists Badenoch and
Clark, revealed 91 per cent of public sector companies had IT strategies but
many were in their developmental stages and almost 60 per cent were not evenly
implemented across departments.
More than 250 managers working within central and local
government were asked about the use of technology and the development of
e-commerce and the impact it had on the public sector.
