The Business, Innovation and Skills Committee will call on Kraft to promise parliament no further redundancies will be made, despite the US food giant having reneged on an earlier promise to keep Cadbury’s Somerdale plant open.
The select committee’s report coincides with a confidential inquiry by City regulators into whether Kraft’s assurances about Somerdale’s future beached the Takeover Code, the Times has reported.
