Laptop users working longer hours

Mobile workers using laptops work longer hours than
average workers and are more productive, according to a MORI Internet survey.

Despite laptop users claiming they commonly work six day
weeks, there is widespread support for flexible working practices.

According to the survey 44 per cent of laptop users work
45 hours or more per week.

This means their average working week is 5.6 hours per
week more than the national average of 37.9 hours per week.

And 64 per cent believed laptops made them more productive
and 39 per cent believed mobile technology is not being properly utilised.
