Today’s
computer experts can name their price if they have the latest internet,
wireless and digital IT skills, claims recruitment agency Sanderson.
“Demand
is so high that many firms are finding it hard to locate suitable staff, and as
a result, the rates for IT professionals with knowledge of the right
programming language are going up and up,” said Adrian Waddy, principal
consultant at Sanderson Recruitment.
Many
IT staff are demanding up to £100 an hour. “Certain IT professionals can
practically name their price,” he said.
