Local government managers who are unable to get to the Employers’ Organisation conference today, which is looking at how to achieve best value through people, can still get a chance to hear speakers via a live webcast.
Web viewers can listen to the views of speakers who include Graham Stringer MP, the parliamentary secretary for the Cabinet Office, Trish Longdon from the Audit Commission, Mike Pitt, chief executive of Kent County Council, David Coats of the TUC and Roger Bennett of SOCPO.
Anyone involved in Best Value can pick up good practice and ideas from the webcast, in the "what’s new" section on the Employers’ Organisation website.
