Human development consultancy Lane 4 claims to have developed a way of helping individuals realise their potential by managing the pressures of modern business effectively. The stress-busting model, derived from research in sports performance, helps individuals understand their own limits, recognise the causes of workplace pressures and manage those pressures. According to Lane 4, whose managing director Adrian Moorhouse won an Olympic gold medal at the Seoul Olympic Games, the model could help the one in five UK employees who experience debilitating levels of occupational stress. The model will be launched on 1 December at Highgate House Conference Centre in Northamptonshire.
