Sports retailer Adidas has rolled out a new e-recruitment initiative worldwide to improve its global talent strategy.

The ActiveRecruiter service will be used globally by Adidas recruiters and line managers for all the retailers’ existing brands, including Reebok, TaylorMade and Rockport.

The service, implemented by Jobpartners‘ IT solutions company, will be rolled out in the first quarter of next year in Germany, the US, Hong Kong, and China with further countries to follow throughout 2007.

Steve Bonomo, head of recruiting at Adidas Group said: “Adidas Group is growing very rapidly, which means an effective global talent management strategy is absolutely critical.”

“We are implementing ActiveRecruiter to greatly speed up and increase the efficiency and effectiveness of our recruitment process, which will in turn help to enhance our employer brand and ensure we attract, hire and retain talented people.”

The company also hopes to make recruitment processes more consistent across the globe and improve customer relationship management practices with the service.
