An internal investigation is underway into Les Bayliss, deputy general secretary of Amicus, but the union said no further details were available.

Lucy Kelly, one the UK’s most senior female trade unionists and also a deputy general secretary of the million-strong Amicus, is also presently suspended pending an internal investigation.
