Benjamin Black is the founder of Blacklarke Consulting. He has over 17 years’ experience in HR leadership across all sectors, specialising in navigating organisational change and culture. Benjamin is an advocate of ‘common sense' HR, where pragmatism always comes before following policies or processes for their own sake and where people are treated with respect and decency. Benjamin started The #NotAgain Project earlier this year, as an addition to Blacklarke’s core HR services, providing interactive and bespoke training on sexual harassment prevention. This was a response to ongoing high-profile cases and what he saw as an overly legalistic reaction by many organisations, rather than them seeking solutions to get to the true root of the problem.
