A business
development consultant for executive coaching firm Performance Unlimited
departs on an expedition to the North Pole tomorrow (Saturday 13th April) to
raise funds for the Muscular Dystrophy (MD) Campaign of Great Britain.

Michael
McGrath has limb girdle muscular dystrophy which has severely reduced his
ability to walk.

McGrath
– a trustee & national councillor for the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign –
aims to become the first person ever with MD to conquer the Pole.

He
said: “This is an incredible opportunity to raise national awareness and much
needed funds for MDC.

"Although
my condition has radically changed the way I live my life, I decided early on
that I would do everything I could to have a positive impact on others with
Muscular Dystrophy."
