HR professionals and their agencies are being encouraged to
enter their best work in this year’s Recruitment Advertising Awards (RADS),
organised by PersonnelToday.com’s publisher
Reed Business Information.
The awards recognise excellence in recruitment advertising
and celebrate the creative collaboration between employers and their
agencies. There are 17 categories in
this year’s line up with several new ones including Best Employer Website and
Best Online Marketing Campaign.
Rob Smith, managing director of Riley HR Gardens and
chairman of the RADS judging panel, is expecting to see a lot of innovation in the entries despite the
downturn.
"Many organisations are being very innovative in
developing their own employer brand and in terms of the different media they
are using," he said.

"I am also hopeful of what the public sector can deliver as it has made big advances in
terms of more sophisticated and adventurous ways of attracting candidates. Agencies should be working with their
clients to look beyond the obvious in recruitment advertising."
The four sponsors for this year’s RADS are: Capital One, T
Mobile, Virgin Atlantic and totaljobs.com.
Closing date for entries is November 15 and readers can apply online to
the RADS website. Winners will be announced at the RADS gala
dinner on January 16th 2003 at Grosvenor House, Park Lane,
London.
