The
Government’s Women and Equality Unit has at last published the final version of
the equal pay questionnaire which comes into force on 6th April 2003 as part of
the Employment Act.
The questionnaires gives staff the right to request pay
information on a comparable worker of the opposite sex. Employers are not
compelled to use them, but those that refuse requests from employees are likely
to be penalised if taken to employment tribunal.
See our legislation
guide for more information on the guidance and a link to the questionnaire.
