An HR manager who stabbed her love rival to death has been found guilty of manslaughter and jailed for seven years.
Karla Biddle attacked and killed Emma Bradshaw with a kitchen knife, then drove to work at Royal Sun Alliance (RSA) in Birmingham as if “nothing had happened”, according to the judge.
Biddle inflicted more than 50 slash wounds and bruises on her victim, fatally stabbing her in the lungs and abdomen. Bradshaw was in a relationship with Biddle’s ex-fiancé Ashley Watson.
After the attack, she drove calmly to work, sending Watson a text message as an attempt at an alibi and spent the afternoon sunbathing.

A jury at Warwick Crown Court found Biddle not guilty of murdering Bradshaw, but by a majority of 10 to two the jury found her guilty of manslaughter.
RSA cofirmed that Biddle worked in the HR team at its Birmingham office at the time of the attack, but had since resigned.
