Independent HR practitioner, Roy Nicholson, said his acceptance shows that business people recognise HR’s contribution to turning companies around. “There is no doubt the society sees HR as a vital part of the process,” he said.
To be accepted into the society, applicants must have been involved in at least two turnarounds in the past five years, be sponsored by two members, submit two case studies on their personal contribution to turnarounds, and attend an interview.
